It takes significant practise to sit with ourselves when conflict comes up. We have been so habituated to numb and suppress by placing things in our mouths to allow the other senses to take over. Either eat, drink, smoke something, these all have an impact on the liver, Yes, even smoking.
Tears have been significant for me to be able to sit in the conflict when the mind and heart meet up with different challenges.
Kindness has allowed me to accept the "I do not know" and allow myself to be empowered with this statement.
The mind wants to control so much while the heart can be giving and free.
Meditation assists in allowing the inner conflict to be transcended and alchemized into wisdom.
This is the development of self-awareness, acceptance and going through it.
Sit with the discomfort and observe the waves do not become involved with them, simply observe them till you reach a space of emptiness and clarity.
